MEIZU M2 NOTE

INTRODUCTION

The Chinese company Meizu has already made its mark in the budget phone segment and it again proved it mark by introducing Meizu m2 note in the market.

DISPLAY

Phone hosts a rich display even in the budget price making it an awesome buy in the market. The phone comes with 5.5 inches IGZO IPS LCD capacitive touch screen with 16M colors. The phone has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with a pixel density of 403 pixels per inch. The dimensions of phone are 150.9 x 75.2 x 8.7 mm and phone weighs 149 grams. Phone has an added protection with Asahi Dragon trail Glass and Dinorex T2X-1 scratch and shock resistant glass. It also has a multi touch in screen. The screen is very reflective screen which reflects a lot of sunlight. Sun readability is also not that strong. Viewing angles are also limited due to reflection scenario of the phone. Keeping in mind its price, it still got the charm with what it is providing us. Phone is available in Gray, white, blue and Pink. Phone has an outside plastic built which is okay with the phone.

PERFORMANCE

Although phone is equipped with Mediatek processor but it surely lacks the competition with the Mi and other from Snapdragon. The phone hosts Mediatek MT6753 Octa-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 processor with a 2GB RAM. The phone even plays smooth under normal games but lacks when heavy armors are loaded. Phone is loaded Mali-T720MP3 as graphics processor and it does suit well with the processor. Phone heats up while using heavy files. Occasional hang occurs when we pushes the phone to its limits.

SOFTWARE

Phone runs on android version 5.0 lollipop with Meizu’s own screen interface known as Flyme 4.5. It's just the same stock interface from the Chinese company. It will take you time to get it adjusted with this interface.

CAMERA

Camera has something nice to offer 13MP autofocus camera with dual led which is capable of 1080 pixels recording with 30 frames per second. Phone has crisp features like Panorama, Slow motion etc. Phone takes ambient colour photos in sunlight with nice details. Phone is not that good in night as details get faded away in low light.

Front camera also doesn't disappoint as it is 5 MP but still able to record 1080 pixels video. Phone uses premium lens to take selfies whenever you want and it surely serves the purpose.

MEMORY

Phone has a internal memory of 16GB out of which only 11.4 GB is user available. Phone has an additional socket which uses SIM 2 place if you want to expand storage up to 256 GB.

OTHER FEATURES

Phone supports LTE bands on both SIM. Another good thing is phone has both SIM active at same time that means it has dual stand by. Phone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, Radio and Wi-Fi direct.
